A document describing a sample's composition and a clinical study answer different questions.
Ask about the measurement context
A number means little without the method and batch identification. Check which sample the document covers, who carried out the analysis and what was measured.
Distinguish the types of evidence
An analytical measurement describes a sample. It does not establish whether the substance helps people with a particular condition. Clinical benefits and risks are assessed through a different kind of research.
Keep the exact names
The sequence, supplied form and analysis conditions must be comparable with those described in the publication. Broad labels make verification difficult and can create a false impression of equivalence.
