What is GHRP-6 peptide?

GHRP-6 is a synthetic hexapeptide consisting of six amino acids, including two D-amino acids. Developed in the 1980s, it was one of the first growth hormone-releasing peptides. It acts as a secretagogue by binding to the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) in the pituitary gland and hypothalamus.
